Yes. Naturopathic care can complement your medical treatment when managed safely. Interactions and contraindications are always considered, and collaboration with your GP or specialist is welcomed.
Most clients follow up every 2–4 weeks initially. As your health stabilises, appointments become less frequent. Appointment frequency is personalised.
Modern naturopathy uses current research, clinical experience, and traditional knowledge. Recommendations at Plum Wellness are grounded in available evidence and tailored to your unique presentation.
Yes, soon you will be able to! The Australian Government is reinstating naturopathy as a claimable service under private health insurance. This means eligible clients will soon be able to claim rebates for naturopathic treatments—stay tuned for updates from your health fund.
Because your care is tailored just for you. I research your specific concerns and symptoms, consider your full health history, and design a treatment plan unique to your needs. That means I spend time thinking about you beyond the consultation itself, so you get thoughtful, in-depth support rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Yes. Gut health is one of the most common reasons people seek naturopathic care. Support often includes dietary adjustments, microbiome-supporting strategies, herbal medicine, stress management and careful analysis of symptom triggers.

My clients commonly seek naturopathic support for bloating, reflux, constipation, loose stools, fatigue, skin issues, stress, sleep changes, and hormonal shifts.
As the digestive system underpins nutrient absorption, immune regulation, and gut–brain signalling, supporting gut health can have wide-ranging benefits for energy, mood, and overall health.
See conditions we support on our Gut Health Naturopath (/gut-health)page.
Testing is not always required. Functional gut tests or microbiome assessments are only recommended when they inform a clearer treatment pathway or complement existing medical tests.

Only when they offer clear clinical value. Many clients benefit from dietary and lifestyle changes alone. If supplements are recommended, they are selected carefully for quality and relevance.
“Plum” is a nod to my Macedonian heritage. The region my parents come from is well known for its abundant fruit orchards, especially apples. Since “Apple” was already taken for obvious reasons, I chose “Plum”, inspired by the plum tree my dad and I planted in my backyard almost thirty years ago. For me, it symbolises family, growth, and nourishment—the same values at the heart of Plum Wellness.
