By using our services, whether in person or online, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Nature of Services

Plum Wellness provides naturopathic healthcare services, including consultations, wellness assessments, and the sale of therapeutic products.

Our practitioners are qualified and registered where applicable in accordance with Australian health regulations.

Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. In an emergency, please contact 000 or present to your nearest hospital.
2. Online & Telehealth Services

Online (telehealth) consultations are conducted via secure video platforms.

By booking an online consultation, you consent to receive naturopathic services remotely.

You are responsible for ensuring:

You have a private, quiet space for your consultation.

Your internet connection and device are working properly.

Online consultations may not be suitable in all circumstances. We reserve the right to recommend in-person consultation or referral to a medical professional.
3. Bookings & Cancellations

Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person.

Cancellations or reschedules require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee equivalent to the full consultation cost. See our Refund Policy for more detail.

Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes may result in a shortened or rescheduled session.
4. Fees & Payment

All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Payment is required at the time of booking your service. We accept all major credit and debit cards and payment can be made online.

Online consultation fees must be paid in advance unless prior arrangements are made.
5. Refunds and Returns
We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Services:

Refunds are not provided for change of mind.

If you believe a service was not delivered with due care or skill, or is otherwise not in line with your consumer rights, please contact us within 3 days of your appointment.
Products:

Refunds or exchanges are available for unopened, unused products returned within 14 days with proof of purchase.

We do not refund or exchange opened products unless faulty or not as described.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and handle your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Personal health information is collected only as necessary to provide healthcare services.

Your information will be kept confidential and stored securely.

We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

7. Practitioner Qualifications & Scope

Our naturopaths are qualified and insured in accordance with Australian standards.

Naturopathic treatment is a complementary approach and does not replace medical advice or care.

We may refer you to a GP or other health professional where appropriate.
8. Consent to Treatment

By booking and attending a consultation (in person or online), you provide informed consent to receive naturopathic treatment.

You have the right to withdraw consent or stop treatment at any time.
9. Programs & Packages
a. Program Delivery

Certain services may be offered as structured programs that include consultations, educational resources, email support, testing recommendations, and other inclusions.

Program inclusions, duration, and fees will be outlined at the time of enrolment.
b. Timeframe and Expiry
-
Programs are designed to be completed within the specified timeframe. While reasonable flexibility may be provided where appropriate, unused consultations, support, or program inclusions expire 6 months after the commencement date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The commencement date is the date of the participant's onboarding call unless otherwise agreed in writing.
c. Missed Program Appointments

Missed appointments that do not meet the required notice period will be considered used and may not be replaced.
d. Client Participation

Program outcomes are influenced by many factors, including the participant's engagement with recommendations and agreed actions.

Participation in the program does not guarantee any specific health outcome.
e. Program Suitability

Plum Wellness reserves the right to determine whether a program is suitable for an individual participant and may decline or discontinue participation where the program is not considered clinically appropriate.
f. Medical Care

Participants remain responsible for maintaining appropriate medical care throughout the program. Participation in a program does not replace medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or ongoing care provided by a medical practitioner.

Plum Wellness reserves the right to recommend referral to, or collaboration with, a GP, specialist, allied health professional, or other healthcare provider where this is considered necessary for safe and appropriate care.
g. Between-Session Support

Where email or messaging support is included, this service is intended for brief questions related to program implementation and does not replace scheduled consultations.

Response times are typically within 2 business days.
h. Payment Plans

Where a payment plan is offered, all scheduled payments remain payable regardless of whether the participant completes the program, except where otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Children and Minors

Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Written consent is required from the guardian for treatment of minors.
11. Limitation of Liability

While we take reasonable care in providing our services, we do not guarantee outcomes.

You agree to use our services and products at your own discretion and risk.

Plum Wellness will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service use, except where liability cannot be excluded under the ACL.
12. Intellectual Property

All materials (handouts, digital content, guides) provided during treatment or through our website are owned by Plum Wellness and are protected under Australian copyright law.

They may not be copied, reproduced, shared, recorded, distributed, sold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect when published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
